Surrendering my life to Jesus
But I know that in this world of rivalry and envy where lots of people idolize their bodies or money and are ready to cheat you because of their profit, in this world full of utterly irresponsible behaviour – remember this sentence – I know that to live without Christ is dangerous, very dangerous!Are you Christian? Have you realized how fantastic is the life with Jesus? I call it to memory every day.I think of him all the time, I consult him and I´m happy with him.When I achieve something – Jesus is the first person I thank.When I realize that he´s happy with me I rejoice even more.He´s so good!All the blessing for me, my wife Evka, my children Sara, Maria, Judith and Elisabeth proceeds from his hand.And all good things that I experience in this life - either from people or from nature - originates in Jesus Christ.He´s so good.He is my first love.
I thank Him for protecting me „in advance.“The truth is I´m unable to know from what his omnipotent hand had protected me ( those disasters didn´t strike me because of his protection ). But I know that in this world of rivalry and envy where lots of people idolize their bodies or money and are ready to cheat you because of their profit, in this world full of utterly irresponsible behaviour – remember this sentence – I know that to live without Christ is dangerous, very dangerous! If you aren´t protected by the Almighty and you´re just living exposed to fate and haphazard“ the disaster that you´re trying to avoid strikes you.Without Christ it´s dangerous but with Christ it´s amazing!
I often laugh sadly when I watch the present-day atheist man having to hunt for things stubbornly and with a great deal of invested energy that Christian takes for granted ( I mean you can´t buy it but – it goes without saying – Jesus´s blood´s paid for it ).They have to pay the building insurance but I´ve been protected by God on my journeys ( up to now nothing has happened even during long journeys – and there were lots of occasions ).They bribe doctors, teachers and authorities only to get what they want – but I haven´t bribed anyone and I´m 37 years old – I get what God recognizes to be suitable for me.They pay various insurance policies– travel,fire, flood or theft insurance but my property is protected by God and I haven´t taken out any insurance policy.They take out an expensive life assurance but I claim that God is the master of this life.It´s only He who is my life insurance broker.The insurance companies are making money on this society that becomes more and more atheist – they´re offering you the safety that in the past was provided only by God.But people without God are feeling unprotected and vulnerable ( that´s true ) and so the human insecurity is the best bussiness nowdays – in the world without God.They´re afraid of having children because they don´t know what´ll become of them – but I put my children in the Lord´s hands so that his grace might grow in their hearts and I trust him that he´s going to lead them on the path of salvation.
To rely on Jesus is the exercise of my faith.I don´t know what I´d do and how I´d live without him.To live with Christ is wonderful!My good God!
But I trust in you,O LORD; I say:
"You are my God.My times are in your hands; deliver me from my enemies and from those who pursue me.
Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love.
Let me not be put to shame, O LORD, for I have cried out to you; but let the wicked be put to shame and lie silent in the grave.
How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you.In the shelter of your presence you hide them from the intrigues of men; in your dwelling you keep them safe from accusing tongues.
Praise be to the LORD, for he showed his wonderful love to me when I was in a besieged city.
Yet you heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help.“
Love the LORD, all his saints! The LORD preserves the faithful,
but the proud he pays back in full.
