Prophetic contents of the billboard
Jesus´telling me:“Why are you angry?This advert reflects the reality after all.This is the truth about the Czech nation. Pleasure´s becoming his god.They´re swapping me for some beer in their blindness.The life for pleasure.I was quite taken aback when I got a glimpse of the picture of the Pilsen beer billboard somewhere in the papers that´s taking advantage of the greatest Christian holiday (Velký pátek = Good Friday). Since I sometimes take this beer brand home, at first in my burst of anger I decided not to subsidize these pagans anymore.For some time yet I thought of sending the management of the company the email they certainly weren´t going to brag about when it FINALLY occured to me to ask also Jesus about his opinion.What would he do in my shoes?
He smiled silently and said in my heart:
“Why are you angry, Ludvík?.This advert reflects the reality after all.This is the truth about the Czech nation.Pleasure´s becoming his god.They´re swapping me for some beer in their blindness.The life for pleasure.Don´t forget that you were in the same boat until your 24 years.If you didn´t come across the people who testified you about me you´d be a slave to empty talks in the pubs and you´d forget every solid decision while taking a leak….“
At once I remembered drinking in one go 33 beers and a few snifters of rum before my conversion at Rychta Inn in Malá Morávka as well and I had to concede that Jesus was right.
There is a really prophetic content in this billboard.A sad prophetic content.The same was true about the high priest Caiaphas when he didn´t actually know at all what he was saying when uttering his greatest prophesy:
Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, spoke up, :“You know nothing at all! You don´t realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish.“ He didn´t say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation, and not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of God, to bring them together and make them one.John 11, 49- 52
But these people are also in the dark because I´m often silent about Jesus and about all the miracles he performed in my life…
How many opportunities have I missed?....Then I don´t wonder that the pagans extol the BEER instead of messiah, and their god is Pleasure…
So, finally this sad billboard became a clear prophetic sign for me.The sign of my own silence..
