The Catholic Church doesn´t force anyone to give tithes.It´s a completely personal decision.Nevertheless, I don´t know anyone who´s made some bitter experience by giving the tithes.Tithes are means of building permanently my personal relationship with God and from my personal experience, I can assure you I haven´t found anything better.However, I´m ready to take your advice.

It was only in the matter of time when I grew in faith, I´ve found out and understood that my motivation is the most important thing in giving the tithes.It´d be a lie if I said that my main motivation for giving the tithes wasn´t material blessing that I was lacking.However, the real blessing ( spiritual and material ) is hidden in something else.Correspondingly, the right motivation should be found elsewhere.The complete secret of the fullness of the blessing ( or if you like – the material and spiritual prosperity of the human being ) is hidden in the parable about the prodigal son.

And that´s why the right motivation for giving the tithe should lead to this objektive, to deepening my relationship with Father. Only in the course of time you´ll learn these finesses.Only in the matter of time you´ll start to understand how softly God cures some of our bad yearnings and ideas that are in our hearts including the beyond desire for the material blessing.And only because we could also be blessed in this sphere.And this process could take years.And then suddenly, we find out that there is the only longing in our heart and it means to be with the Lord.And we find out that we aren´t interested in the material properties anymore.And that´s the right moment for Him to entrust them to us so that they don´t rule over us but serve us.They served to God or to the human being.Or vice versa.God isn´t a penny pincher.He´s created a very rich earth and gave us the task of subjugating it.Long ago, He invented computers and all new technology that we are discovering and will be discovering.Long ago, he invented money, laws, economy and financial engineering.All these things could and should be in God´s service.However, only people who are totally decided on God and surrendered Him the control of their lives are able to put it in practise.And that´s our task.That´s the task of everyone who is called Christian.To give God my life completely so that he might implement his plan that had been thought out long before my birth.God has created the Earth with abundance of natural resources so that nobody suffers from the lack of anything.

The poverty is the curse that rids the human being of his dignity and destroys the divine picture that had been stamped by the Creator I don´t mean the case when someone deliberately decides in favour of the poverty for God )….
