On February 12, 2010 the President of Haiti Preval called his nation for three days of prayers and fast.
 
HAITI CALLS FOR FAST AND PRAYERS
 
More than 1 MILLION of Haitians´ve participated in this event.
When the sun rose on February 12, 2010 I hardly believed my eyes.
Crowds of people were gathering right at the shade of the presidential palace in Port-Au-Prince.The president Preval cancelled every year Lenten celebrations and called his nation for three days of prayers and fast.The pastor René Joseph, together with other spiritual leaders had only five days for organizing this gathering and when it dawned there were so many people that it´d been impossible to sight everyone.
 

When the pastor Joseph came to the mike and started with introductory prayer, Haitians stood with their hands put up towards the sky and called desperately to God Almighty to forgive them and heal their land.More than one million of people was there.The main square in the centre of the city was packed.Some of them climbed the trees, others were on top of the roofsof their houses or on top of their cars.

They´d been there since six a.m. till six p.m. on each of these three days.They were listening to the passages from the Bible, prayers and praises that sounded.The declarations and repentances were made.Even the prime minister of this nation turned up early in the morning on the first day.He didn´t speak to the throngs but just stood there and cried for more than an hour.He left only because of returning with the president Preval a few hours later who then gave a talk.The pastors laid their hands on him and prayed for God´s blessing while he stood there and called to God to heal his nation.

 
You see, this nation humbled itself before God and He was pleased.
 
During these three days more than three thousand conversions took place from among which 101 are people who are known to be the former Voodoo priests.
 
You see, on February 12, 2010 the sky above Haiti opened and the Holy Spirit began to pour down like rain and all I can tell you is this – it´s still raining!!
