…..On 1-4-1991 a light shone in my heart.It was the light of knowledge about the meaning of life that only God gives.
 The light shone in my heart

My childhood was wonderful.Nonetheless, it didn´t take long and I started to be faced with a serious problem - alcohol in my family.I often witnessed quarrels, stress and thrashing.It seemed to me instead of the fact that my parents were interested in me I had to bear the brunt of their problems.The older sister was working and was trying to escape.I understood her.The younger one was still tiny and needed solicitousness.I didn´t have the real friends and the relations „tit for tat“ didn´t satisfy me.And everyone have plently of their problems….Many times I felt completely alone and helpless.And so I opened my heart to the four walls of my room.

 

I wasn´t even content with myself despite my successful studies and general interests.I seemed to be level-headed outwardly but in my heart there were reservedness, complexes, hang-ups and feeling that I was different.I was longing for something or rather for someone who gives the meaning to my life.I had great ambitions and I was decided to make my way in the world.
Although I came from the Christian family I knew God only in a formal way.I had respect for him but it was all.The study at the grammer school froze sufficiently even the slightest contact with Him that I´ve been keeping just from force of habit.
 
  
 
There was a radical change in my life when I was sixteen.I was a sophomore and encountered the former class mate from the basic school.She was different, jovial and happy.

She kept talking about Jesus.She asked me to come to the Christian youth meeting.

 

On April 1st, 1991 the light about the meaning of life shone in my heart.Only God can give this light! During the Christian summer trip I experienced the touch of God´s love and decided to live with Him.The more I get to know Him the more I love Him.He became my Guide and Protector. The ambition of making myself visible and success of my EGO were replaced by „YOU in ME, JESUS!“The God started the service of liberation in my family.Nowdays when I return home I find the place of peace and mutual love.Where the fray, threats and promises were of no use God intervened with his power.God sent me people who are my real friends because His Love prevails among us.I know I can rely on them in the difficult moments.

 

On the pilgrimage in Šaštín God told me:The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.My heart was filled with yearning to talk about The One who´d done so much for me – he died for my sins and changed my life.I graduated from the university and I´m the member of the Saint Paul´s community which is dedicated to announce the Word of God within the Catholic Church.I´ve got tremendous joy of life in my heart for THE ONE who´s died for me so that I may LIVE TO THE FULL.I know that my testimony hasn´t finished yet because “No eyes has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.“
