Ježíš

I was baptized as a small child but I started going to church only when I was an adult.I´ve brought up three children.Unfortunately, my daughter is mentally handicapped.My husband had a nervous breakdown when he lost his job during the floods in 1997 and that´s why he was granted the disability pension. I had various problems and trouble.I was beset by the worries about my family and job to such an extent that I couldn´t bear the weight of life…there were moments when I wanted to finish my life…

Once being completely down in the dumps, feeling under the weather and having no zest for life, I accepted my friends´invitation to the spiritual retreat in Kroměříž.I felt blue and sad but people around me praised enthusiastically the Lord in songs.They were happy and joyful.In the course of the day I could feel God´s touch and my heart was filled with quiet joy.I knew that Jesus lives and loves me and only waits for my agreement to come into my life.When I was leaving the spiritual retreat I was a completely different person knowing that I can experience the fantastic moments and joy with Jesus.

Nowdays I know the words of Paul the Apostle from the first epistle of Thessalonians were meant on me at the Kroměříž´s meeting.

At the following meeting of the Pentecost in Kroměříž I asked Jesus to come into my life.And He´s helping me.When I´m in difficulties I prayed Him and He is working.The essential thing for my spiritual life is that I can share with other brothers and sisters who are united in faith and yearning to express their gratitude to the Lord, ask Him to help and bless in the congregation of our town.

For our gospel come not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance: as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.1 Tes 1, 5.
