How God stopped the express R 740 because of me

I leaped at the chance plucked up my courage grasped my travelling bag and ran towards the door.All of a sudden, the train almost stopped – it could travel at about 2 – 3km per hour.I opened the door and got off in a leasurely fashion.It was about 150 metres behind the station.I managed to slam the door behind me and immediately after the train started picking up speed again.I turned around and all the passengers were staring at me as if I were a fool but nobody said anything:-) How God stopped the express R 740 because of me

When the fabulous course Filip ended in Kroměříž on Sunday afternoon and I wanted to get back home to Prostějov there were two alternatives: the bus that goes directly or the train which means that I´m going to change twice.Finally, I decided to go by train as I ´d have to wait for the bus for more than an hour.

Radek saw me to the station waved at me and the local train pulled out of the station headed for Kojetín where I should change for Nezamyslice.Then I met another participant of the course Anita from Ostrau at the Kojetín station with whom I´d talked until her train arrived.Shortly after, „my“ train arrived and continued in the direction of Nezamyslice and Brno ( it was my direction ).Without looking at the watch properly I went closer to it on the spur of the moment.After getting on I checked my watch and found out that there were about 10 minutes left till the departure.Nevertheless, suddenly the guard began closing the door the train dispatcher waved and the train moved off.My heart jumped:“What if I happened to be in a wrong train?” but I was calmed down by the fact that Nezamyslice is an important interchange in the direction of Prostejov, Olomouc and that the train has to stop there.I said to myself I couldn`t make a mistake.Well, I was badly wrong! I`ve seen the schedule of that connection in the small window.It was written there:..Kojetin, Vyskov, Brno, …no Nezamyslice!!Then I knew that the fat is in the fire and that I had acted rashly when I`d got on this train!

I started being angry with myself because I didn`t check properly time and the rail the train should depart from.Fortunately, I was filled with great joy and peace owing to the course Filip and that`s why I turned down the grim thoughts after a short while.I made a decision to entrust the whole thing to the Lord!

Out of the blue a verse from John`s gospel came to my mind:”And whatsoever you shall ask in my name that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”I said a short prayer and told God I didn`t want to be late nor buy a new ticket.I was looking forward very much to being at home.I asked the Father in the name of Jesus to be able to change in Nezamyslice after all ( didn`t feel like going until Vyskov at all ) and not to be in trouble when the guard would check my ticket.Five minutes haven`t even passed and the guard was approaching me along the crowded alley.I expected anxiously her reaction.I gave her my ticket she looked at it and was just on the point of stamping it but suddenly she was taken aback and started inspecting it more carefully.She said ironically making grimaces after a while:”Well, you`ve got a very interesting connection! From Kromeriz to Prostejov through Kojetin and Nezamyslice but right now you are in an express that doesn`t stop until Vyskov.It only goes through Nezamyslice.Then she added something like “I`m really interested how you want to do it.”I told her I didn`t have an inkling that it didn´t stop in “Nezadkach” but she didn`t feel like listening to me.After exchanging a few more sentences she suddenly gave me the ticket back and moved on.

I`ve felt relieved….but on the other hand I`ve seen myself hanging about the Vyskov station and waiting for the train in the opposite direction.It entered my head how late I`ll get home.In a short moment I noticed we were approaching Nezamyslice and in other few moments I watched sadly the big sign Nezamyslice on the station building but deep down there was a flicker of hope.I said in spirit:”Lord, let the miracle happen, I wish this train stopped.”At that moment I could feel that we started slowing down but I only put it down to the fact that during the passage of the station the train always slowed down.However, the train slowed down more and more.We`ve already passed through the station but the train went slower and slower.

I ran to the platform in a huge positive shock and incredible happiness being full of thanks to The One who`d “caused”all this.Nevertheless, this wasn`t all.When God does something he does it properly…

Two trains were standing in the platform and I could hear the loudspeaker:”The delayed express train for Prostejov is about to leave….” – To be on the safe side I asked quickly the dispatcher that sent me to the right train.I got on and the train moved off almost immediately.As it was an express train, the journey took only 15 minutes.Being flabbergasted I just looked out of the window and I was under the impression that it was a dream.The only thing that I could say was:”Thank You, Jesus. I praise You, Jesus.”

When I got out in Prostejov, I realized that beside the fact that the Lord stopped miraculously the train for me and “prepared” another connection at once, he gave me something extra.I was at home in conclusion half an hour earlier than according to the original plan.ALELUJAH1

Everything happened so quickly that when I`m recalling it now so I can`t still believe what had actually occurred on my way back from Kromeriz.This wonderful experience with Jesus helped me increase my faith and showed me the practical manner “in which you entrust your worries to the Lord.” I found out that when we prayed in faith so we`d get!

Our heavenly Daddy was glorified in his Son marvellously owing to my thoughtlessness.
Since the first moment I`ve known that I can`t keep this so far strongest testimony of mine to myself but I have to send it on
 
Glory to Jesus, My Lord.
